Role Overview: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically astute Business Development Manager with a proven mentality to drive significant market share growth. This is a pivotal role focused on proactively identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities within the building and construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, a deep understanding of the industry's technical requirements and decision-making processes, and a demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets through aggressive lead generation and strategic engagement.

Your primary objectives will include:

Strategic Opportunity Identification: Actively researching and identifying new market segments, key projects, and potential high-value clients (commercial builders, contractors, developers) across the state.

Technical Solution Selling: Articulating the technical advantages and value proposition of our product portfolio to technical stakeholders (engineers, project managers, specifiers) within target organizations.

Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively generating new business leads through targeted outreach, networking, industry events, and leveraging market intelligence. Rigorously qualifying these leads based on technical fit, project timelines, and budget.

Pipeline Development & Management: Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting opportunities, and strategically moving prospects through the sales cycle.

Technical Presentations & Demonstrations: Delivering compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the features, benefits, and technical specifications of our solutions.

Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets for new business acquisition.

Salary and Benefits

Base - $90,000 to $115,000 + Super + Strong Commission Structure
