An established and growing building services business seeks an ambitious person to join our team as an operations manager.

Client Details

Our client is a highly respected Australian family-owned business in the building services sector, with 30 years expertise in building services and over 200 staff across multiple business units. They are seeing year-on-year revenue growth of over 10%. As part of the group’s succession planning, they are looking to hire an additional member for their senior management team.

Position Description

Reporting to the director, your role will involve running the day-to-day operations of two of their business units. This includes:

Driving resource management and productivity

Ensuring efficient use of labour

Tender work including site visits and meeting clients

People management

Full profit and loss management

Providing technical support as required

Working cross functionally with other stakeholders across the business

This role will be based in Western Sydney.

You

Our ideal candidate ideal has an engineering or trade background and is now looking to develop into a senior manager. You will also have:

Strong people management skills

Trouble shooting/technical skills

Ability to communicate both up and down effectively

Able to work in an agile and fast paced environment

Commercial acumen - experience with profit and loss
