Redgum Periodontics & Implants is a well established specialist periodontal practice located in Woden. We work closely with general dental practitioners and dental specialists from the ACT and regional NSW. We are dedicated to providing excellent health outcomes and management to our patients.

We have an opportunity for a Dental Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis working a 9-day fortnight.

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Front Desk Manager who can facilitate a seamless experience ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations, interacting with patients from the initial point of contact. In this role you will be an integral part of our dynamic team assisting with all administrative duties as well as supporting operational requirements assigned by the practice manager.

This unique opening will suit a confident, well organised individual with previous dental experience in a receptionist role who can liaise with referring dentists, specialists and patients in a professional manner as well as perform the duties of a sterilisation assistant when required.

Qualifications

Previous dental assisting qualification or relevant dental experience an advantage

Familiarity with dental terminology and equipment

Display high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and aptitude for multi-tasking

Strong interactive communication skills

Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

Manage appointments and maintain patient schedules

Processing payments/rebates and handling patient billing

Maintain and update patient records and documentation

Possess dental knowledge of clinical procedures and instrument sterilisation to support clinical team when required
