Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Centre Engagement Support Officer to join School of Early Childhood and Inclusive Education, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.

The Centre Engagement Support Officer is a key member of The Centre for Inclusive Education and is responsible for supporting the Centre Director and Centre Coordinator in day-to-day operations, internal and external communication and events, reporting and coordinating Centre activities, supporting external grant and manuscript preparation and submission, and maintaining the Centre's online platforms.

What you need to succeed

  1. Education and training equivalent to completion of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Proven highly developed written and digital communication skills, including professional correspondence, presentations, producing and disseminating resources for social media.
  3. High-level administrative skills with a proven ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks with general direction.
  4. Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of high-complexity events management, external engagement, and office administration.
  5. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work flexibly and professionally while engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Knowledge and understanding of inclusive education or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts related to inclusive education and related frameworks.
