About the role:

As Senior Marketing Officer, you'll be the driving force behind the Council's visual identity, overseeing the development and consistent rollout of branding across a variety of internal and external platforms.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design and management of creative assets for campaigns, events, signage, and more
• Managing and evolving the organisation's branding strategy and guidelines
• Coordinating marketing collateral across digital, print, and social media platforms
• Overseeing the Digital Asset Management system and training internal teams on usage
• Collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Advising on marketing approaches that reflect the needs of a diverse and engaged community
• Contributing to strategic campaigns that raise awareness and drive engagement across key initiatives

Ideal experience and skills:

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or a related field
• At least 5 years' experience in a senior design, marketing or brand role
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and strong CANVA capability
• Proven experience in campaign creation and delivery across a range of channels
• A strong grasp of digital marketing, social media and evolving technologies
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Bonus if you have skills in video production or photography
