About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Physicians SA' in Holden Hill, SA. This is a part-time position that will involve providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical staff.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival

Scheduling appointments and managing patient bookings

Answering and directing incoming phone calls

Maintaining accurate patient records and medical files

Processing payments and handling financial transactions

Ordering and maintaining medical supplies and stationery

Providing general administrative support to the medical team

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar customer service role in a healthcare setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare policies and procedures

A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
