ODE Dermatology, a premier medical and aesthetic dermatology clinic in Fitzroy founded by Dr Shammi Theesan, is seeking a dedicated Back-of-House Medical Receptionist to join our growing team.

What We’re Looking For

A client-centric professional with strong interpersonal skills

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment

Someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and adapts with ease

Quick to learn and open to ongoing training

Previous experience in medical reception, customer service, or sales (preferred but not essential)

Confidence in securing bookings both over the phone and in person

Proficient with computer programs and able to quickly learn new systems with support

What We Offer

Part-time role: 2–3 days per week

Competitive pay: $34 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Learn and navigate medical software and clinic processes through hands-on training

Maintain accurate client records and information

Process billing, check consult notes, and lodge Medicare claims

Upload referrals and monitor clinic inboxes

Schedule follow-up appointments and respond to client enquiries with confidence

Support skincare sales aligned with medical recommendations

Answer phone calls professionally and manage front desk communication

Deliver warm, attentive service that reflects ODE’s high standards
