About the role

Queens Hotel Gladstone is seeking an experienced Sports Bar Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Sports Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant sports bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth. This is a full-time role based in Gladstone, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Manage the sports bar team, including scheduling, training, and performance management

Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and revenue

Oversee the procurement, inventory, and stock management of the sports bar

Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing and food safety regulations

Foster a positive and energetic atmosphere in the sports bar

Liaise with the broader hotel management team to support the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar sports bar or venue management role

Proven track record of driving sales and customer satisfaction in a hospitality environment

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a memorable guest experience

Sound knowledge of liquor licensing and food safety regulations

Proficient in inventory management and cost control

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service
