Are you a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional service and quality? We are seeking a motivated Bar Manager to join this well-known venue in Margaret River. Major Goal:
The Bar Manager will be responsible for the seamless running of the bar, ensuring top-tier product quality and service standards, driving growth in trade, and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality and Service Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring high standards of service and product quality.
Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance customer service and product offerings.
Monitor competitors' service and product standards to maintain a competitive edge.
Professionally handle customer complaints and suggestions, ensuring satisfaction.
Team Management:
Manage the recruitment, selection, and training of all bar staff in line with Venue Manager procedures.
Develop and implement a succession plan for bar management and supervisory roles.
Lead the development and performance management of bar supervisory staff.
Conduct monthly check-ins with bar supervisors and staff, ensuring development and addressing performance concerns.
Provide guidance, counselling, and discipline as needed to maintain a motivated and effective team.
Financial Performance:
Drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives (exclusive of price increases).
Control wage percentage, beverage costs, and overheads in line with targets set by the Venue Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in bar management, with a focus on customer service, team leadership, and financial performance.
Strong understanding of beverage costs, wage management, and overhead control.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
