Corporate Facilities Coordinator role - Global Company - Full-Time Permanent - Brisbane CBD

Your new company

Our client is a global real estate services company, that are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support one of their financial institution clients' Brisbane CBD site.

Your new role

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator is required to be a hands-on person with the ability to identify building-related issues. Key responsibilities include;

  • Ensure the assets and building is maintained in appropriate condition.
  • Carry out documented daily site walk to identify facilities/building related risks and issues and resolve quickly without business interruption
  • Coordinate scheduled/ah hoc works with respective vendors as required
  • Assist Facilities Manager with vendor management
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in raising work and purchase orders, preparing meeting minutes, updating trackers, and coordinating with vendors
  • Provide regular reporting on work status, including job closures and maintenance schedules
  • Review SWMS and Permit to works as required
  • Adhok guest relations support, if required
  • Conduct vendor spot checks
  • Interact with Building Management and Engineering teams daily and ensure no interruption of base building and engineering provided services to the facility
  • Engage with key stake holders to maintain smooth building operations
  • Respond to emergencies and work with the facilities Manager in resolving the incidents/escalating to the stakeholders and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated Facilities Coordination or relevant Facilities experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills
