We’re looking for someone who sees possibility—and isn’t afraid to run with it. The kind of person who can turn a blank calendar into a community of buzzing, connected businesses. Someone who can take a message, shape it, and share it in a way that feels real—and makes people lean in.

At the Esperance Chamber of Commerce & Industry, we exist to support the success of local business. We’re the voice of business in our region—and the Events & Communications Coordinator is central to how we show up and deliver on that purpose.

You’ll be the one:

Delivering events that feel purposeful - not predictable - creating experiences our members want to be part of

Crafting content and campaigns (graphics and copy) that keep our members informed, engaged, and proud to be part of the Chamber

Managing our social media, EDMs, media releases and stakeholder comms - plus hands-on event set up and pack down

We think you’ll thrive here if you:

Have strong communication skills with an ability to write clearly and speak with presence

Are confident managing projects from idea to delivery, with an eye for detail and design

Have a natural ability to connect with people, and genuinely care about making a difference

What does success look like? In 3 months, you’ll be running events and content confidently. In 12 months, you’ll have elevated our voice and brand presence, strengthened member engagement, and made our events unmissable.

The practical stuff:

Up to 23 hours per week

$34 per hour

Flexible work hours and days

Why join us?
Because you’ll get to shape something meaningful—bringing creativity, strategy, and local pride together in one role. Because you’ll be trusted to own your work. And because when you do something well, you’ll see the ripple effect across an entire region.

We lead with integrity, we work as a team, and we’re proud to be the voice of business in Esperance.

Ready to bring your ideas to life with us?

Apply now to upload your resume to our external HR Business Partner, The People & Culture Office - we’d love to hear what you can bring to the story we’re telling. Please do not contact the ECCI direct. Applications close 5pm Thursday 24 April 2025.
