Applus+ are currently seeking a vibrant and dynamic candidate with tertiary education in Marketing and Communications and an interest in the energy and industrial sectors for a stand-alone role, commencing immediately. This part-time (25 hours per week), permanent opportunity will be based in our Perth CBD office, with irregular visits to our Bibra Lake Head Office. The role is responsible for partnering with management and a wide range of operational departments to coordinate marketing and communications activities and initiatives targeting both internal and external stakeholders across our businesses within the region, with approximately 80% Australia focused.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of internal and external communications and branding strategies, programs and campaigns,

Create and plan regular creative and strategic content for internal and external audiences, including digital and social media, advertising and recruitment.

Management of social media accounts, internal newsletter, brochures, and statements.

Management of GoogleAds campaigns.

Work with Commercial and MarCom teams, regionally and globally, to review and revise existing portfolio of digital and traditional marketing and communications content,

Website management utilising Magnolia (training provided if necessary),

Coordinate planning, sourcing, supplier liaison and application/distribution of marketing and promotional materials within an allocated budget,

Coordinate with Commercial and Operational Managers to manage events, including Open Days, Lunch and Learn Sessions and expo attendance,

Coordinate industry body memberships and event sponsorships,

Maintain and update engagement statics and other reports as required,

Liaise with corporate Marketing and Communications team (based in Spain) to implement group policy and strategies at a local/regional level,

Assist Human Resources to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives,

Conference & Expo preparation working with third parties to manage staging and presence,

Tender support, working with Operational teams when drafting case studies and capability statements.

This role will suit a proactive, motivated self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This will be a sole-charge role, supported by the Business Development Manager and the corporate MarCom team, based in Spain.

The successful candidate will be:

Tertiary qualified in public relations, media, marketing, journalism or similar,

2+ years’ post-qualification experience,

An effective and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills,

Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, as well as exposure to event planning and event management,

A confident writer with great attention to detail and experience copywriting and developing content for a range of communication channels,

Competent marketing design skills,

Exposure to Google Ads, Tag Manager and CMS experience,

A team player who is willing to take on new challenges and get involved with new projects and tasks,

Flexible and able to multi-task and work to deadlines.
