Centro Constructions (Somerton) is a leading and rapidly growing residential construction company based in Melbourne. We specialize in creating custom homes with both single and double-storey designs—our clients' homes are our passion.

We are currently looking for a talented Architect/Senior Draftsperson to join our dynamic and dedicated team. In this role, you'll collaborate with our in-house architecture team and oversee both onshore and offshore teams to bring each project's creative vision to life, from the initial design concept through to the completion of construction.

You will work in a supportive team environment alongside our sales team, color consultant, and construction crew, gaining valuable experience as you see the project through from start to finish.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience working on residential projects in Australia, preferably with custom homes (applications without this experience will not be considered).

Proficiency in Revit/AUTOCAD is essential.

Strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian standards.

A current valid driver’s license.

Relevant drafting qualifications, including experience in design and siting.

A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building Design, or Drafting.

The ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and basic database management.

Responsibilities

Drafting residential plans for homes built by Centrocon.

Preparing drawings and assisting with Development Application (DA) lodgements.

Drafting for both single and double-storey projects.

Collaborating effectively with Sales Staff and Estimators in a professional manner.
