We are currently seeking one or two motivated and detail-oriented Junior Joinery Drafters to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for cabinetry and architectural drafting.

About the Role:

As a Junior Joinery Drafter, you will work closely with our senior drafting and production teams to prepare detailed drawings and documentation for custom joinery projects, including kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, office fit-outs, and bespoke cabinetry. Your role will involve producing accurate shop drawings, interpreting architectural plans, and contributing to the smooth handover from design to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings using CAD software (e.g. Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, or similar)

Interpret architectural and interior design plans for custom cabinetry and joinery

Collaborate with the production team to ensure drawings are accurate and practical for manufacturing

Assist with site measure-ups and as-built documentation as required

Maintain drawing standards and ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with project timelines

Revise drawings based on feedback and coordinate changes with project managers

Requirements:

Qualification in Drafting, Cabinetmaking, Interior Design or a related field (or working toward one)

Basic understanding of cabinetry construction and manufacturing processes

Experience with CAD drafting software

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to read and interpret plans, elevations, and section drawings
