Executive Services Officer – Development and Regulatory Services (0.8 FTE)
Level 7 ($79,009 – $79,603) per annum pro rata

The Town of Cottesloe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Executive Services Officer to join the Development and Regulatory Services team. This role provides executive support to the Director of Development and Regulatory Services while ensuring the efficient administrative operation of the Directorate.
This position is permanent part-time position, working 60.4 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) located at our Cottesloe Civic Centre.
About the Opportunity
As the Executive Services Officer, you will provide confidential executive support to the Director of Development and Regulatory Services. You will be responsible for coordinating meetings, preparing reports, assisting with legal documentation, and managing various administrative functions within the Directorate. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of the community by supporting essential services and projects. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Executive Support: Manage the Director’s calendar, prepare reports, draft correspondence, and assist with Council reports and Local Emergency Management Committee meetings.
Legal Support: Act as a liaison for legal matters, Fines Enforcement Registry and ensure legal documentation quality control.
Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support to internal teams, and manage training schedules, invoices, and purchase orders.
About You
The following selection criteria is essential for the role:
Significant experience in an executive support or administrative role, ideally within local government.
Strong attention to detail with a process-driven approach and high accuracy standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with excellent communication and time management skills.
Please note, the selected candidate will need to have or obtain a National Police Clearance, provide evidence of Australian working rights and complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
