Facilities Coordinator

Location: Millers Point, Sydney
Duration: 6 Months with Opps to extend
Start Date: 28th April 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Full-time, 38 hours/week)
Salary: $35.00 – $37.00 per hour + Super

About the Role:

MAYDAY is on the lookout for a proactive and organised Facilities Coordinator to join a dynamic company for an exciting maternity leave cover opportunity! This is a key role where you’ll take charge of everything from facilities management and office administration to front-of-house responsibilities, ensuring the office runs like a well-oiled machine. From coordinating office events to managing daily operations, you’ll be at the heart of the action. You’ll have the chance to work with a supportive and innovative team while gaining valuable experience in workplace coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, coordinate with property services, and manage maintenance requests alongside the Property Coordinator.
  • Be the welcoming face of the office, providing exceptional service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Ensure the office runs smoothly by managing office supplies, maintaining records, and providing general administrative support.
  • Organize office events, meetings, and catering, creating a seamless experience for the team.
  • Manage relationships with service providers, cleaners, and property coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure the workplace is compliant with safety standards and quickly address any safety issues.

Ideal Candidate:

  • First Aid Certification and fire warden experience (required).
  • Previous experience in facilities management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
