The Opportunity

Assistant Sydney is currently partnering with a leading, global real estate services firm to provide temporary facilities coordinators, administrators and managers to several of their accounts that they manage. We are looking for facilities experts to join on a short and/or long-term basis, these opportunities vary in length from short-term temporary cover, through to temporary to permanent opportunities.

The Responsibility

Your responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to;

  • Coordinating facilities services with contractors and external service providers
  • Scheduling maintenance and ensuring our systems are updated accordingly
  • Updating and maintaining plans and assisting with inspections, overseeing access card information
  • Relieving reception and supporting the facilities team with any ad-hoc administration or project duties
  • Coordinating inductions, security checks and ensure records are up to date for all subcontractors.

The Expertise

To be considered for the opportunities you'll need to have prior experience in a Facilities Coordinator role, preferably within a corporate office based position. Due to these roles being temporary in nature (some fixed term, some potentially temp to perm) the majority of them require an immediate start, and will require you to hit the ground running. Your ability to deal with customers over the phone and in person professionally is important in this role. Your presentation needs to be immaculate, along with your attention to detail. The right candidate will be able to find their feet quickly, and be able to pick up processes easily.
