About the role

Bayside Medical Suites are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Hampton-based practice.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team. What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling telephone inquiries

Assisting with the coordination of patient referrals and follow-up appointments

Providing general administrative support, such as photocopying, filing, and data entry

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Ensuring compliance with practice policies and procedures

Collaborating with the medical team to provide the best possible patient experience

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within a healthcare setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues in a warm and empathetic manner

Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other standard office software

A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and upholding the values of the practice
