Part-time Medical Receptionist (3-4 days per week)

We are a busy health care clinic seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.

You will be working primarily in medical reception for our busy orthopaedic specialists. You will also provide reception duties for other visiting specialists. This is a part-time position, 3-4 days per week, with a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.

On site in Heidelberg once a week for satellite consulting required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Front desk reception, meet and greet patients

Answering telephone calls

Manage incoming emails

Scheduling appointments

Invoicing, receipting and Medicare claiming

Overflow medical audio typing

Scanning into Practice Management Software (Xestro)

Liaising with hospital staff, surgeons, anaesthetists

Responsible for the smooth running of all consultant clinics

Requirements:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist in specialist rooms preferred

Friendly, patient focussed manner

Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively

Attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Excellent communication skills

Medical software experience preferred (training can be provided)

Excellent computer literacy, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Flexibility to cover staff holidays and sick leave
