Purpose:

As the General Manager of Operations, you will impact and oversee daily operations of the surgical practice. Your leadership will be essential & integral in ensuring smooth business functions, optimising efficiency, and driving the growth of the practice in a commercial way. Collaborating closely with surgeons and staff, you will cultivate a positive and productive environment, while also managing the financial aspects.

Your Impact:

• Take charge of leading a dedicated team of 20 staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Ensure clear communication, consistent performance, and a workplace culture where each individual feels valued and motivated to contribute their best.
• Oversee all administrative processes with precision, ensuring that the practice operates smoothly and in full compliance with industry standards, policies, and regulations. Your organisational skills will be critical in streamlining workflows and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
• Manage and optimise the scheduling of surgeons and staff, ensuring the most efficient use of time and resources. Your strategic planning will ensure that the practice runs like clockwork, delivering excellent care while avoiding scheduling conflicts and inefficiencies.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the surgical practice, including managing day to day operations, invoicing, budgeting, and financial reporting. You'll ensure that the practice remains profitable and financially stable while maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to identify new growth opportunities and develop innovative strategies for business expansion. Whether it's exploring new services, building patient relationships, or increasing operational capacity, you will be a key driver of the practice's continued success and long term growth.

Key Attributes:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a managerial or operations role, within a dynamic surgical practice environment.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve their best.
• Outstanding organisational, communication, and problem solving abilities, able to think on your feet and handle challenges with ease.
• Solid experience in financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, ensuring the practice remains financially healthy and sustainable.
• Strong, dynamic with multitasking abilities, with the agility to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast paced, ever evolving environment.
