About the role

Tiny Tails Pet Salon is seeking a casual Dog Bather to join our team at our Wynnum West, Queensland location. As a Dog Bather, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and cleaning services to our canine clients, ensuring they leave our salon looking and feeling their best.

What you'll be doing

Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to maintain their coats and skin health

Providing a calming, positive experience for dogs during the grooming process

Maintaining a clean and well-organised work space at all time

Communicating effectively with clients about their pet's grooming needs and preferences.

Checking in and Checking out dogs in our booking system

What we're looking for

Previous experience in dog bathing, cleaning or a similar pet-care role

Reliable and punctual person as this is crucial to our booking system.

Strong physical fitness to be able to pick up dogs of all size and wash/blow dry them. This is a heavy duty job that requires you to stand on your feet all day and pick up dogs.

Being able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. We have a small time window to wash and blow dry dogs so you need to be fast, strong and loving. You need to be able to work in a loud space (blow dryers noise and dogs bark)

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with both dogs and their owners

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols from Tiny Tails Pet Salon's owner

No weekends or public holidays work.
