About the role

Waggy Tails Doggy Day Care is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Groomer to join our growing team. This is a casual position in our Eltham location, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our four-legged clients.

What you'll be doing

Bathing, brushing, and full trims including breed specific cuts to maintain their coat and appearance

Providing nail trims and other basic grooming services

Ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all dogs in your care

Communicating with clients on their pet's grooming needs and progress

Maintaining a clean and organised grooming area

Adhering to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a professional dog groomer, with a proven track record of providing high-quality services

Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and appropriate grooming techniques

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with both dogs and their owners

A calm, patient, and compassionate demeanour when handling animals

Flexibility to work a casual schedule

Certification in dog grooming or a related field is preferred
