About the role

Waggy Tails Doggy Day Care is looking for a passionate, energetic, experienced Animal Attendant to join our team in our Eltham, VIC location. This is a casual role, offering 30+ hours per week. As an Animal Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and supervision to our canine guests throughout the day.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming dogs and their owners upon arrival

Monitoring dogs during playtime and ensuring their safety and wellbeing

Providing enrichment activities and mental stimulation for the dogs

Assisting with feeding, grooming, and cleaning tasks as required

Maintaining a clean and organised day care environment

Reporting any concerns or issues to the management team

What we're looking for

Previous experience or qualifications working with dogs, either in balanced training or doggy day care

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail

Passion for animal welfare and a desire to provide the best care

Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
