About MyVagina (myvagina.com)

We are a very small, dedicated team, and offer a friendly, supportive work environment based in Northcote, Victoria.

MyVagina is a unique, world-renowned vulvovaginal and women’s health specialist clinic and online resource, with an online store. While the business is run entirely online, our dispensary and administration office are very much bricks and mortar.

Job description

Permanent part-time with pro-rata paid leave

Administrative tasks (minor bookkeeping/accounting, website support, maintaining spreadsheets and logs).

Ensure smooth operation of the herbal dispensary, liaise with dispensing naturopaths, ensure adequate stock levels, make up product stock and ensure maintenance of equipment.

Ensure smooth operation of the online store with order management (packing, shipping) and high-level, generous, empathetic customer service.

Day-to-day activities

Process orders, respond to customers, liaise with naturopaths, process prescriptions, monitor stock levels, make up products (product manufacturing, bottling, labelling, etc.), and clean up. Tasks may also include running errands.

Comprehensive training will be provided.

Hours of position

Part-time – 8-12 hours per week across 2-3 days. Hours and days are somewhat flexible, and there is potential for this role to grow with our business.

Required qualifications and skills

Qualified naturopath or 3-4 year naturopathy student (or equivalent training in science/healthcare field)

Strong administration skills and experience

Attention to detail is crucial

High-level customer service skills and experience

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

The right to work in Australia

Desirable qualities and skills

Interest in herbal medicine, science/chemistry, women’s health

Experience in online retail sales

Experience using online platforms

Spreadsheet savvy

Remuneration

$33 p/h (incl.11.5% superannuation)

Accessibility and physical components of job

The building is not wheelchair accessible and has stairs.

The job requires both computer and dispensary work, with sitting-standing options in both areas for comfort.

The job requires the use of a step ladder.

The job requires the use of scientific lab equipment (including heat, glass and high-powered devices), contact with many ingredients, and a steady hand for pouring and dispensing small amounts of liquid.
