About the role
This part-time (20-25 hours per week) Admin Assistant role is an excellent opportunity to join the team at Norhire Skip Bins in Woree, Queensland. You will provide administrative support to the wider business, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a great chance to develop your skills in a dynamic, rapidly changing industry.
What you'll be doing
General administrative support to ensure smooth business operation.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in relation to job orders, completed jobs, maintenance tasks and general business activity.
Assisting in the coordination of trucks and bins to complete jobs as scheduled.
Consulting with staff and customers to ensure timely scheduling of jobs and delivery of invoices for completed jobs.
Performing general office duties such as scanning, filing, invoicing, data entry, and answering email/phone inquiries
What we're looking for
Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within the construction industry
Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks.
Excellent communication and people skills, and a strong, confident phone manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
Familiar with Reckon Accounts or similar book-keeping system.
Basic knowledge of construction industry processes.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
