The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll:

Take ownership of 3D CAD design for Excavator Attachments, Buckets and Tipper bodies.

Create & review fabrication plans and specifications using computer software.

Work closely with production teams to turn concepts into reality.

Oversee stress analysis and performance testing to optimise designs.

Develop and refine high-quality mechanical components, ensuring durability and efficiency.

Engage with customers to develop tailored solutions that set new industry standards.

Liaise with customers, management and production teams in relation to product development.

Candidate Requirements

The right person for this role will be:

A Mechanical Engineer with degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar mechanical design or technical engineering role.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar CAD software.

Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and material selection.

Hands-on experience designing mechanical components for heavy equipment, mobile machinery, transport, or related fields.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
