About the Role:
As a Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team. Your expertise in preparing precise drawings, assisting in mechanical designs, and collaborating on equipment installation will be vital to the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities:

As directed by the Engineering Manager, perform designs and calculations in order to support appropriate engineering solutions for construction projects. Complete value engineering where appropriate to provide cost savings. Maintain current industry knowledge/best practice solutions in regard to HVAC systems. Complete and document work in a methodical manner so that work can be tracked in accordance with the ENVAR Standards and ISO 9001.

Prepare detailed sketches, plans, and designs for mechanical engineering projects under the guidance of our Mechanical Engineers.

Assist in the design of mechanical equipment and plant.

Select equipment to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.

Estimate material costs, quantities, and system requirements.

Oversee the undertaking field tests to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.

At least one year of relevant experience mechanical engineering

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes.

Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes:

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including heat transfer, pressure, and temperature.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills for calculations.

Ability to learn and apply engineering-based calculation methods or programs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
