The Australian and Queensland governments have committed significant investment towards delivery of Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line. The project is now in the pre-delivery phase, with procurement underway for the Stage 1 works packages and construction activities expected to commence in 2026, subject to approvals.

The Opportunity
The role of Senior Environmental Officer is to provide environmental management advice and guidance to enable the Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line to meet the Government's environmental obligations and commitments. The role plays an integral part providing environmental technical advice for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of transport projects for the Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line project.
As Senior Environmental Officers you will undertake assessments of transport related environmental impacts, prepare reports and recommendations that will be support the delivery of the project's environmental approvals. You will model behaviours and attitudes aligned with TMR's values and contribute to a positive team culture, meeting of team and personal accountability expectations, and modelling the standards of professional behaviour.
