You will be working in a fast-growing early education business based in their brand-new offices in Barangaroo, Sydney CBD. Conveniently located close to public transport via Ferry, Bus or Train!

In this role you will be working in a social and energetic team of 5 and get full exposure to Payroll, month-end processing and AP.

Paying up to 90k + Super. This role would suit someone who is thorough, diligent, highly organised and enjoys streamlining processes.

Responsibilities:

Payroll:

Process fortnightly payroll for full-time, part-time, and casual staff.

Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations, including tax and superannuation obligations.

Maintain accurate employee records, including leave balances and entitlements.

Manage employee queries related to payroll and provide timely resolutions.

Financial Reporting:

Assist with bank reconciliations, month-end, and year-end financial closing processes.

Assist with preparing accurate financial reports and records for management review.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and government regulations.

Maintain up-to-date and organised financial records for auditing purposes.

Accounts Payable:

Process invoices, match purchase orders, and maintain accurate records of all payments.

Manage supplier relationships, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.

Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Management of multiple bank accounts

Profile:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, in a multi-sited business.

Experience using Employment Hero and MYOB AccountRight is desirable, but not essential.

Extensive knowledge of payroll and month-end processes

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
