Hours: Permenant Part-Time or Casual: 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs, 7am-3pm), occasional Saturdays (if desired)

Are you an experienced Dental Nurse with some reception experience, ready to take the lead in a professional yet friendly environment? This is your opportunity to take charge of all things dental nursing in our boutique dental practice in Teneriffe!

As Head Dental Nurse, you’ll be an integral part of our close-knit team of three, working alongside our Practice Manager and Dentist Director to ensure seamless patient care and clinical excellence. The Role:

Lead and oversee all dental nursing operations within the practice.

Assist the dentist with procedures, ensuring efficiency and high-quality patient care.

Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols to the highest standards.

Manage stock control and ordering of dental materials and instruments.

Provide chairside assistance during treatments and surgeries.

Ensure a smooth patient experience, from welcoming them to post-treatment care.

Work collaboratively with the Practice Manager and Dentist Director to optimize workflows.

Handle light reception duties when needed, including appointment scheduling and patient communication.

Maintain and update patient records using our dental software.

Implement your own systems for improving office processes and patient care.

Ensure the practice is well-organised, and a welcoming atmosphere for patients.

Work independently and confidently, with occasional Saturday shifts if desired.

As part of your role, you'll be hands-on with dental lab work, including learning to use our advanced 3D technology to create custom retainers, aligners, mouthguards, and more. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills and gain experience in modern digital dentistry, helping to produce high-quality appliances in-house!

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a dental nurse.

Ability to work autonomously and implement your own systems to improve practice efficiency.

Strong communication skills, with a caring and professional attitude toward patients.

Organisational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable working in a boutique, intimate environment with a small team.
