Pastoral Care Co-ordinator
Reporting to the Dean of Students

Role Highlights

The Pastoral Care Co-ordinator will be a middle leadership role within the Pastoral Care Team. The position is responsible for proactively monitoring and supporting student wellbeing and exercising pastoral care within the schools vertical structure in a manner which reflects School values.

Key Accountabilities

Promote the holistic educational development of students in their houses

Collaborate with others to ensure effective management of student wellbeing

Facilitate the establishment, development, implementation, and evaluation of behaviour support processes

Ensure effective Child Protection practices

Oversee specific Year Level operational responsibilities

Foster right relationships within the School community

Meeting Workplace Health and Safety obligations

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.)

Hold a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or eligible to gain)
