OPPORTUNITY
Our client is looking for a competent individual to fill the role of Branch Manager on a permanent basis. Working from the Brisbane branch based in Brisbane's Western Suburbs, you'll be responsible for the continued growth and development of branch operations, while leading a high experienced team of 10 individuals. Key job duties include:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring all functions run efficiently and in alignment with company objectives
- Oversee a team of 10 staff including 4 BDMs, 4 internal admin staff, and 2 service technicians, providing coaching, performance feedback, and support
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the building industry, with a strong focus on builder clients
- Collaborate with BDMs to expand market share, secure new accounts, and strengthen relationships with existing builder clients
- Manage administrative workflows to ensure timely quoting, order processing, and customer service delivery
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure garage door installations and service jobs are scheduled and completed to a high standard
- Monitor branch financial performance including budgets, gross profit, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with WHS policies and maintain a strong safety culture across sales, admin, and service operations

CANDIDATE
To be considered for the role we're seeking candidates that meet the following pre-requisites:
- Previous experience (4-5 years minimum) in Sales Management, managing a team of external sales representative (in any industry)
- Knowledge of the Building & Construction industry i.e. if you've sold building materials in wholesale or distribution channel that would be advantageous (does not have to be steel oriented)
- Some knowledge of steel products a bonus (although not essential)
