ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Complete Belting Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian conveyor and asset maintenance management company that manufactures and supplies products and services to industrial, quarry and mine sites across Australia.

We are looking for a confident and experienced Branch Manger to oversee the strategic and operational growth and success of our Melbourne location. This includes the oversight of all operational and sales functions, as well as culture and team development.

This key position will see the successful applicant:

deliver CBS's strategic plan for the Melbourne and wider Victorian region;

ensure the provision of quality and efficient service to our customers;

conduct business development activities;

build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

manage and ensure job execution, contract performance and project management;

manage branch financial performance;

manage branch human and equipment resources;

ensure work health and safety compliance;

ensure that branch sales and operational targets are met; and

report all results to upper management.

Suitable applicants will possess the following skills and experience:

Proven management experience, including strategic planning and performance as well as financial reporting and management (must have a good understanding of business profit and loss drivers)

Demonstrated experience in operations planning in a fast-paced environment

Previous B2B sales and customer service experience

Proven leadership and human resource management skills, with an ability to motivate and mentor, as well as foster positive working environments

Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving

Demonstrated ability to develop and improve processes

An in depth understanding of workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Understanding of general risk management and compliance issues as they apply to business operations

Well organised with exceptional time management and communication skills

A strong work ethic

Be personable, approachable and diplomatic in all dealings

Be capable of dealing calmly in stressful situations

Industry experience is an advantage but is not considered essential to be successful in this role.
