About the role
Main tasks: You will spearhead the establishment and growth of our Queensland hub, overseeing operational, commercial, and staff aspects of this high-volume trade store while ensuring exceptional service delivery and optimal profitability. This role offers the entrepreneurial thrill of building something new with the safety net of an established, successful company backing you

Other tasks:

  • Drive sales growth by applying your commercial expertise to identify opportunities and implement effective strategies
  • Build and nurturelasting relationships with trade partners, residential builders, and construction clients
  • Streamline operations by optimising processes and workflows to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • Proven experience managing a trade store, branch, or team, overseeing sales & warehouse staff
  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record of driving sales & growth
  • Background in sales, customer service, or distribution.

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • An active forklift licence or the willingness to obtain one
  • Established relationships with builders, trades & other construction businesses
  • Branch management or fulfilment experience in the building & construction sector.
