To respond to the increasing demand for graduates, UniSQ’s School of Surveying and Built Environment are looking for a forward-thinking and results-driven individual to work with partners to increase the number of students choosing surveying as a career to address critical skills shortages.

Over the life of the project, the School Liaison Coordinator (Surveying) will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the Surveying Graduate Pipeline Project which is designed to promote Surveying as a profession and in turn increase the number of graduates from surveying programs.

We are now seeking a highly organised professional with excellent communication skills and experience in marketing and promotion to join our team!

What you’ll do

  • Ensure the program outcomes are achieved by developing a range of effective, contemporary and innovative publications and marketing material.
  • Monitor and report on project success indicators and budgets in consultation with key stakeholders related to the Surveying Graduate Pipeline Project.

What will help you succeed?

Key to your success in this role will be your exceptional communication skills, coupled with your ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders. You will also have:

  • A degree in communications, event/project management, or a related discipline, with subsequent relevant experience.
  • Exposure to the surveying profession or STEMM environment, or the ability to quickly understand the attributes that make for a successful surveyor.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise, manage and report on a wide variety of tasks, projects and events.

Depth and breadth of experience within the Australian higher education or secondary school sector will be highly regarded.
