Tech Coordinator – Scheduling, Service & Maintenance

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the efficient delivery of service and maintenance operations. Key responsibilities include:

Scheduling and coordinating technicians and contractors for service and maintenance assignments

Ensuring timely completion of all scheduled maintenance tasks

Raising purchase orders and managing stock levels and supplier relationships

Finalising client purchase orders, work orders, and job completion reports

Preparing completed job documentation for the Accounts Department for invoicing

Providing exceptional customer service via phone and email

Assessing service call requirements and directing inquiries appropriately

Keeping clients informed on job progress and ensuring prompt resolution of issues

Performing data entry and reporting using Simpro and other relevant software

Managing databases and assisting with the backlog of orders

Handling ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Significant experience in a service coordination role, preferably within the electronic security industry

Demonstrated ability to schedule and coordinate technicians or contractors

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities

A positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Confidence liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders, including company directors and trades staff.

Experience with Simpro software will be highly regarded, but is not essential
