About the role:
We are seeking an ICT Business Analyst to join our E-commerce team in Sydney. Based in our Banksmeadow office, this role reports to the GM E-commerce and will be a key member within the team.
The purpose of this role is to provide the Australian business with operational coordination of all import, export and domestic freight. You will own and be accountable for analysing the ANZ trade lanes and report to wider business on performance.
This role will also be the main link between Operations, Customer Service and Sales to ensure proactive tracking and issues escalation is executed in real time. Your contribution will have a substantial impact to the bottom line. You will also join Seko’s Operations team in liaising with customers and suppliers in relation to job needs and issues. Through Tableau and Alteryx, you will create and manage all reports used by Operations, Sales, Finance and Customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Interacting with business management, users, and partners to identify the requirements and limitations of processes and to deliver solutions, improvements, and problem-solving techniques within Seko omni systems.
Determining and evaluating inefficiencies, as well as systems behaviour and operation, and recommending best business practises.
Upkeep of databases containing logistics-related data using Tableau and Alteryx to access, edit, analyse, and update data.
Creating the reports, gathering the needed data, and data reconciliation.
Ensure a smooth transition to new procedures by working with the business, and if needed, offer post-implementation assistance.
Working to establish and guide the information communication technologies initiatives, plans and policies for smooth process.
Inform and train users of system changes, including how to translate system functionality into terms that are applicable to business.
Designing and producing specifications in response to requests from the team in charge of sales and accounts.
Locating, evaluating, and organising corporate projects, processes, and procedures.
Co-ordinating and managing the systems set-up and configuration of systems for clients.
Ensuring to implement the functional solutions into action, such as by developing, approving, and putting into action system test plans that attest to the acceptance of the system.
Organising the execution of the testing procedures and testing the cases in staging environments within Omni systems before live environment to ensure smooth process.
Other duties may be assigned.
About You:
At least 3-years experience in an analyst role (Required).
Qualifications – Business / System Analyst (Desired).
Strong leadership abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A key influencer within the business and engagement at all levels.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
