We are seeking an ICT Business Analyst to work on Transnational Education (TNE) Project with prior experience working in education sector.

About the Role:

As an IT Business Analyst specializing in implementing SIS platform, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of educational technology systems. You will work closely with stakeholders across the institution and third-party IT vendor to ensure smooth operations, gather requirements, analyse processes, and drive improvements and troubleshooting. Additionally, this role may involve supporting website management and optimising our organisational digital presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead requirements gathering sessions and document detailed business requirements related to SIS implementation.

Analyse existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend IT solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Develop functional specifications and user stories to guide the development and configuration of the SIS.

Act as the liaison between internal teams and IT vendors to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the SIS.

Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users.

Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SIS.

Contribute to the development of project documentation and training materials.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on SIS implementation within the education sector.

Comprehensive understanding of Student Information Systems and related educational technologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of website maintenance, content management and user experience optimisation.

Experience with process mapping and business process improvement methodologies.

Strong documentation skills.

Ability to start immediately.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
