Our Senior Management Accountants and Senior Finance Partners are changing the face of how DPLH delivers our objectives to our internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for the next wave of difference-makers to join our Finance team!

The Senior Management Accountants and Finance Partners support the Department’s strategy of reviewing how we work, embracing change and leading reform activities by providing strategic financial leadership and deliver results for Western Australia and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders.

As the Senior Finance Partner/Senior Management Accountant, you are responsible for preparing financial modelling, reporting, business cases and funding submissions. You will prepare and present the Department’s activity-based costing by collating information, analysis and coordinating with various divisions. In addition, you will contribute to the development, implementation and review of the various finance projects.

This is an open pool recruitment process for permanent full-time, and fixed term full-time opportunities. Suitable applicants will be placed in a Pool from which appointments may be made for similar vacancies for a period of 12 months.

Located in Perth CBD in a convenient location, above the Perth Underground rail; close to the Wellington Street Bus Station and City CAT services.

To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of financial modelling.
  • High level skills, knowledge and practical application of financial services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in leading and supervising staff.
