Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure exceptional customer experiences in our bustling cafe. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a crucial role in maintaining a positive workplace culture. You will be working closely with the owners to continually improve and grow the business in a creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Team Leadership & Training: Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team, ensuring high morale and teamwork. Train new staff to uphold cafe standards and deliver outstanding service.

· Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring every guest has a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.

· Roster Management: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage while balancing labour costs.

· Workplace Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the café.

· Stock Control & Ordering: Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and oversee stock rotation to minimize waste.

· Financial Management: Assist with budget management, monitor daily sales, and ensure banking procedures are followed accurately.

· Cafe Operations: Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service, efficiency, and adherence to café policies.

· Event & Promotion Support: Assist with cafe events, promotions, and special occasions to enhance customer engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a front-of-house or managerial role in a cafe, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.

· Strong leadership and people management skills.

· Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

· Proficiency in scheduling, stock management, and financial oversight.

· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

· Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial processes.

· Passion for food, coffee, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
