About the role
Are you a passionate hospitality professional ready to take your leadership to the next level? At Wine & Dine’m Catering, we’re known for our creativity, professionalism, and heart—and we’re looking for a dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our onsite team and ensure flawless event execution.
This hands-on role is key to delivering exceptional service across our diverse event calendar. You’ll oversee all front-of-house operations, from team leadership and event delivery to rostering, training, and post-event wrap-ups. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping client experiences and nurturing team culture.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, mentor, and manage the casual FOH team at onsite events
- Deliver high-end service for events ranging from 20 to 500+ guests
- Roster and manage staff to align with event needs and wage budgets
- Recruit, onboard, induct, train, develop FOH team members
- Maintain a professional, high-standard approach in all aspects of the role
- Monitor event delivery, presentation standards, and team culture
- Collaborate with a dynamic, passionate team to create memorable experiences
- Balance 70% on-site event presence with 30% admin and training

- Proven experience managing a front of house team, events, catering, or hospitality
- Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities
- High level of organisation with ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when events require
- Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- A passion for great service, team development, and culture-building
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and adaptable with a positive attitude
Key Accountabilities
- Effective staff rostering and cost control
- FOH recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
- Hands-on staff training and performance support
- Event reporting and post-event administration
Maintaining a positive and professional FOH team culture
