Founded in 1997 by Keith and Ali Hentschke, Hentley Farm is one of Australia's leading luxury wine producers. Located at our Seppeltsfield Vineyard in the scenic Barossa Valley we have a stunning cellar door and one of Australia's finest restaurants. Our vineyard is one of the most awarded vineyards in Australia across the last decade and is home to our small batch winery, bottling line and offices.

We are seeking a passionate and talented Front of House Manager with a desire to provide our guests with memorable dining experiences. Reporting to our Executive Chef, ideally you are a highly motivated person with the talent to oversee our front of house team and service. You will excel with hosting our loyal VIP members and diners, providing them with an experience to remember. The applicant is required to work over a five day lunchtime roster (wed-sun) , including school holidays, and special events, as required.

Our restaurant offers a luxury dining experience from the heart of our estate. The food is world class and we desire service to match that in a relaxed and friendly environment. We are searching for a passionate person who is a natural leader, who thrives on building relationships with their team and our diners.

A positive, pro active attitude with warmth, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Ability to manage and develop a vibrant front of house team.

Strong organisational skills, and the ability to implement and oversee efficient systems and procedures.

Maintaining Hentley Farm Restaurant’s high standards, while enthusiastically being involved with developing our offering further.

A passion for fine wine and ability to pair them with our amazing dishes.

Able to host multiple guests at once in a fast-pace environment whilst exceeding guest expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

Passionately leading a positive and supportive culture.

Have a hands-on and active role in day to day operations and services.

Assisting our Executive Chef in creating the overall Hentley Farm experience.

Oversee the front of house team including rostering and organising their daily responsibilities.

Ordering of beverages.

Implementing and overseeing ongoing training and development of our front of house team.

Oversee reservations and customer service for prior and post visit.

Maintaining a strong relationship with our amazing Cellar Door team to further our guest experience
