The Role
The Photogrammetrist – Spatial Data Analyst position will require you to import and process crewed aerial sensor data, generate 3D models, maps and plans from aerial photographs, undertake calculations from these models and prepare reports and plans.
The position is based in our bright and friendly office in Ringwood Victoria, however flexible hybrid work options are available. Interstate candiates are encouraged to apply as relocation assistance can be provided or other options explored.
The role will require a mix of both classical stereo vector mapping and also point cloud mapping and large area orthophoto mosaic creation from large format stereo images captured from aircraft.
Stereo vector mapping from crewed aircraft aerial imagery
Aerial triangulation and orthophoto generation
Digital Elevation Model creation
IMU and GNSS data post processing
Preparation of plans and maps
Effective communication skills (internal team, external clients)
About you
A degree or diploma in Surveying, Cartography, Remote Sensing or related field plus two years of relevant experience, or 5 years relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to undertake stereo vector mapping.
Good technical and communication skills
