About the Role
As an Analyst Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and growing our competitive suite of automation solutions for the General Insurance market. Your main focus will be to build out automations for specific customer deployments while ensuring our automation suite is scalable and can efficiently function in the broader Unmand - Insurance eco-system.
What you’ll do
- Build, configure & maintain our suite of insurance automations using the Unmand platform.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their goals, tailoring and configuring automation solutions that meet their needs, enhance their business and streamline their workflows.
- Test and review new features to maintain high-quality standards across automation solutions.
- Become a technical subject matter expert for Unmand’s insurance automation solutions, continuously growing and evolving the product offering and your understanding of the industry, our customers, their systems and their processes.
- Write and maintain solution specific documentation to help build our knowledge base and provide clear and insightful information for our customers.
What you'll bring with you
- Experience in the General Insurance industry in roles such as Technical Support, Technical/Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Account Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Naturally curious mindset, comfortable researching and tackling unfamiliar challenges.
- Action orientated, with a passion for improving efficiency through automation.
- Proactive learner with a strong desire to develop deep expertise in our products and solutions.
Highly regarded but not required
- Prior experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
- Familiarity with SQL and comfortable building basic queries and modifying more complex ones.
- Prior experience with web testing or automation (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium).
- Experience building and curating internal Knowledge Bases and Documentation.
