You will bring existing technical knowledge of, or a noticeable desire to extend your key skills in spatial systems support, administration and enhancement. You will apply analysis and technical skills for the maintenance, monitoring, support, enhancement, documentation and development of spatial applications, web services and tools. You will be expected to utilise high level customer service skills, stakeholder engagement, user acceptance testing, timely review, and be able to provide solutions to both internal and external customers who use the Department's online systems.

In this role you will:
• Contribute to the creation of innovative solutions and efficient processes to improve the delivery of products and services.
• Ensure documentation of spatial applications including configuration, information management procedures and user guides is developed and maintained.
• Ensure application supportability through:
o Providing application support;
o Undertaking application testing;
o Supporting application improvement;
o Planning application testing;
o Encouraging effective information management.

What we're looking for:
• Knowledge of or the ability to acquire the knowledge of applying spatial tools (e.g. ESRI ArcGIS Software Suite) to business process and solutions and incorporating other enterprise business capability (e.g. Microsoft 365 apps, Automation Flows, PowerBI) where needed.
• PostgreSQL & SQL DB's, ArcGIS Arcade, and Python scripting experience highly desirable
• Whilst not mandatory, any relevant qualifications and memberships in information management and/or geospatial information would be highly regarded.
