Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Scheduler to join the organisation. Centred within the Infrastructure Delivery group, the ideal candidate will have experience within the utility or water sector. In this role you will be handling the preparation and assessment of project schedules and plans covering the full project scope and all project phases, as well as managing stakeholders to optimise schedules to ensure delivery of all projects and programs.

Role Title: Scheduler

Contract Length: ASAP till 31/03/2026..

Daily Pay: $700 - 900 + Super per day.

Location: Chatswood (2067). Office/WFH Hybrid

Role Requirements:

• Identify and track critical milestones and paths.
• Review and approve contractor schedules.
• Conduct earned value analysis to monitor project performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Analyse and optimise scheduling processes.
• Generate reports and track progress.

Key Challenges:

• Scheduling across multiple projects.
• Managing of multiple project schedules, budgeting requirements and competing commitments and priorities which require negotiating and continual re-prioritising of own work.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving.
• Strong organisational skill.
• Approximately 4 to 7 years' experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of current relative legislation.
• Experience utilising scheduling system namely Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts and best practices for scheduling.
• Advanced knowledge in using Excel.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
• Power BI reporting skills beneficial but not necessary.

Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area and must possess existing full working rights - Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia.
