Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join their Program Management Office in supporting critical Defence projects in delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP) and Microsoft Project. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and optimising the project schedule, and requires exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with other team members. The individual will also be required to identify potential scheduling risks and provide guidance on schedule management to the project.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule

Ensure the project schedule is integrated, aligned, and comply with requirements

Collaborate closely with project managers and team members to ensure cohesive and accurate scheduling

Analyse schedule data to identify potential risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement

Provide regular status updates and reports on schedule performance and progress

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Scheduler in Defence

Proficiency in OPP and Microsoft Project is mandatory

Demonstrated understanding of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) principles and practices
