We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Sales Assistant to join the team based in Coomera on a full-time basis.

You will report to the Marine & Protective Coatings Sales Manager and join the paint department team in this dynamic store. While previous paint or boat knowledge is desirable, it is not essential as full product training will be provided on the job. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn and be passionate about high levels of customer service to trade and retail customers.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service and establish relationships with our customers.

Collaborate with the Sales Manager, and our other team members to improve sales potential within the store.

Tinting and mixing paint, palletising paint drums, arranging orders for delivery, and colour-matching.

Deliveries using the Store vehicle (where applicable).

Merchandise and replenish stock promptly and ensure it is presented well.

Store housekeeping and following the store’s safety standards.

Manual Handling - up to 32 kgs.

Requirements

Previous retail assistant experience with the desire to provide excellent customer service to our growing customer base. You won't be afraid to be hands-on daily in the store.

Keen to learn new skills and have an invested interest in building your expertise on our products.

You will be comfortable with manual handling as part of your normal day. For example - lifting heavy paint tins (up to 32 kgs), pushing and pulling trolleys, using pallet jacks, standing for long periods, kneeling, loading the Ute for paint deliveries, and doing the delivery and unloading on the other side.

Paint experience is not essential, training will be provided.

Must be available every second Saturday Morning 7am till 12. The bonus is every other week, knock off at 12 pm on a Friday & enjoy 2 1/2 days off!

An Australian Drivers License is required & must be maintained.

We are not interested in sponsoring overseas candidates nor are we are not looking for a short term hire on a working holiday visa. This role will offer intense sales & practical training so we are looking for a long term commitment.
