Our client is an Australian media business based in Sydney CBD. They are looking to replace their current Head of Technology who is moving on after 8 years of service. There are ambitious technology projects in the pipeline for this year, consisting of two greenfield projects and a rebuild of an existing legacy web application. You will be responsible for directly leading a team of 6 (1 technical lead, 5 engineers), and 7 cross-functionally across product and delivery. You will be required to be 20-40% hands-on (dependant on project phase) with architecture, foundation set-up work, setting best practices, mentor/grow the team, and be the bridge between technology and business.

Technology Stack: Node (back-end), Svelte (front-end), Google Cloud Platform (cloud)
