Tasks and role details -

The role reports into the Senior Finance Manager and includes the following broad responsibilities -

Management of a small team of 3 direct reports

Budgeting, Forecasting and Business planning

Executive reporting, analytics, and presentation to enable decision making

Lead role in managing the month end reporting process

In depth analysis on results

Business partnering with the operation teams, all departments and financial stakeholders

Lead role in process and systems improvement projects

Desirable background -

Retail property or retail industry background required for this role

Ideally staff management or staff supervision/mentoring experience would be favourable

CPA/CA qualified

Strong budgeting background desired

Excellent communication skills and business partnering with key stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Someone who has been involved with systems implementation or process improvement projects would be an advantage
